At Old Masters Fine Art, each student creates their own original oil painting. Choose a subject that is meaningful to you and learn traditional painting techniques with individual guidance. Working at your own pace, you'll develop your painting over a series of sessions, creating a finished work on linen canvas to display and enjoy for generations.

1. Choose your painting
Choose something meaningful to you—a family photograph, a favorite place, a pet, or an image you love. Every student creates their own painting.
2. Learn the process
Learn traditional oil painting techniques, from drawing and underpainting to values, color, and fine details, with personal guidance at every step.
3. Paint at your own pace
Return for two-hour sessions as your painting develops. Most paintings take around eight sessions to complete. Come weekly or at your own pace. We safely store your work between visits.
4. Your masterpiece
Take home your own original oil painting on linen canvas, created with professional materials and traditional techniques. A piece to proudly display, enjoy for generations, and perhaps one day pass down.

What to Expect from Your First Session
Before you arrive
Choose something you would genuinely like to paint and send us your reference image and canvas size at least 24 hours before your session. If you're unsure what to choose, we'll help.
When you arrive
Everything will be ready for you. Your instructor will guide you through the first stage of your painting and work with you throughout the two-hour session.
After your session
We'll safely store your painting at the studio. Book your next session when you're ready and continue where you left off.
