TERMS & CONDITIONS
Effective Date: September 27, 2026
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to sessions, packages, purchases, services, and participation at Old Masters Fine Art, as well as use of our website.
Old Masters Fine Art is operated by Behn Media, Inc. (“Old Masters Fine Art,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By booking or purchasing a session or package, you agree to these Terms. A parent or legal guardian must complete required agreements on behalf of a participant under 18.
1. Sessions & Payment
Standard sessions are two hours unless otherwise stated. Payment is due at the time of booking.
Session pricing includes personalized instruction, a canvas, use of studio equipment, and standard paints, brushes, mediums, and other materials provided by Old Masters Fine Art.
Students work on their own individual paintings with guidance from our instructors. Instruction is personalized, but Old Masters Fine Art does not guarantee any particular artistic result or completion within a particular number of sessions.
Most paintings take approximately eight sessions to complete, but this is an estimate only. The actual time required depends on factors including the subject, canvas size, technique, complexity, experience level, and individual pace.
2. Rescheduling, Cancellations & No-Shows
A session may be rescheduled with at least 72 hours' notice before its scheduled start time.
A cancellation or request to reschedule made less than 72 hours before the scheduled start time will result in forfeiture of the session. The session will not be refunded or credited.
Failure to attend a scheduled session without the required notice is considered a no-show. No-show sessions are forfeited and non-refundable.
If Old Masters Fine Art cancels a session, the affected session may be rescheduled without penalty. If we cannot reasonably provide a replacement session, the amount paid for that affected session will be refunded or credited, as appropriate.
3. Late Arrivals
Students arriving late may participate for the remainder of their scheduled session. Sessions end at their originally scheduled time, and additional time is not guaranteed.
A late arrival does not qualify the session for a refund, credit, or extension.
4. Session Packages
Unless different terms are clearly stated at the time of purchase, session packages expire 90 days from the date of purchase.
Packages are intended for use by the purchaser and are non-transferable unless Old Masters Fine Art agrees otherwise in writing.
Once any session within a package has been used, the remaining package is non-refundable except where otherwise required by law.
Promotional sessions, complimentary sessions, discount codes, and special offers may have separate eligibility requirements and expiration dates stated as part of the applicable promotion.
Gift cards and gift certificates are governed by the terms stated at purchase and applicable law.
5. Artwork Ownership
The artwork you create belongs to you.
Old Masters Fine Art does not acquire ownership of a student's original painting merely because it was created during instruction at our studio.
Students may take their artwork home when appropriate. Because traditional oil paintings may remain wet for extended periods, instructors may recommend that a painting remain at the studio until it can be transported safely.
6. Photography & Use of Student Artwork
While artwork is present at Old Masters Fine Art, we may photograph or record the artwork and its development, including individual stages of the painting process.
The student retains ownership of the original artwork.
By participating in a session, the student grants Old Masters Fine Art and Behn Media, Inc. a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use photographs and recordings made by or on behalf of Old Masters Fine Art depicting the student's artwork or its creation for legitimate studio purposes, including our website, social media, advertising, promotional materials, educational materials, portfolios, and documentation of the painting process.
This permission does not transfer ownership of the student's artwork to Old Masters Fine Art.
Permission to photograph artwork does not automatically authorize Old Masters Fine Art to use an identifiable student's name, image, likeness, or voice for promotional purposes.
Identifiable photographs or recordings of students may require separate media consent. For students under 18, such consent must be provided by a parent or legal guardian.
7. Reference Images
Students may provide photographs or other reference images they wish to use as inspiration or reference material for their paintings.
Students are responsible for ensuring they have any permission or rights necessary to use reference materials they provide.
Old Masters Fine Art does not investigate, obtain, or guarantee copyright, publicity, trademark, or other rights associated with student-provided reference material.
We reserve the right to decline a reference image that we reasonably believe is inappropriate for the studio, unsuitable for instruction, unlawful, or likely to infringe the rights of another person.
8. Artwork Storage
Old Masters Fine Art may store works in progress between sessions as a convenience to students.
Students are responsible for returning to continue their work or retrieving artwork they leave at the studio.
If 90 days have passed since the student's most recent attended session and the artwork remains at the studio, Old Masters Fine Art may send notice to the email address, telephone number, or other contact information associated with the student's account.
If the artwork is not retrieved within 30 days after that notice, it may be considered abandoned.
To the extent permitted by law, abandoned artwork may be disposed of, recycled, donated, or otherwise removed from the studio without compensation to the student.
Old Masters Fine Art will exercise reasonable care when handling stored artwork but cannot guarantee that artwork will remain entirely unchanged while drying or being stored due to the inherent characteristics of traditional painting materials.
9. Art Materials & Studio Safety
Old Masters Fine Art uses traditional artists' materials, including oil paints, painting mediums, solvents, brushes, palette knives, easels, and related studio equipment.
Students agree to follow reasonable safety instructions provided by instructors and staff and to use studio materials and equipment as directed.
Students who have allergies, sensitivities, or other concerns regarding art materials should contact the studio before participating.
Old Masters Fine Art maintains a safe and professionally managed studio environment; however, students participate in ordinary studio activities at their own risk to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Students under 18 must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to participate.
10. Students Under 18
Old Masters Fine Art generally accepts students ages 12 and older.
A parent or legal guardian must authorize participation by a student under 18 and complete any required participant agreement, emergency-contact information, media consent, or other documentation required by Old Masters Fine Art.
Participation requires the ability to remain appropriately engaged during a two-hour instructional session and safely work around traditional art materials and studio equipment.
Old Masters Fine Art reserves the right to determine whether continued participation is appropriate when a student's conduct creates a safety concern or materially disrupts instruction for others.
11. Studio Conduct
Old Masters Fine Art is intended to provide a respectful, focused, and welcoming environment for students, instructors, employees, and visitors.
Harassment, threatening behavior, intentional damage, serious disruption, inappropriate conduct, or unsafe behavior will not be permitted.
Old Masters Fine Art reserves the right to refuse continued participation or require an individual to leave when reasonably necessary to protect students, employees, property, or the studio environment.
A session ended because of a participant's material violation of these rules is not eligible for a refund.
12. Personal Property
Students are responsible for personal belongings brought into the studio.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Old Masters Fine Art is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal property brought onto the premises.
13. Website & Old Masters Fine Art Intellectual Property
The Old Masters Fine Art name, logos, branding, website content, original photographs, graphics, instructional materials, written materials, studio-created reference materials, and other intellectual property owned by Old Masters Fine Art or Behn Media, Inc. may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, sold, or commercially used without authorization except as permitted by law.
Nothing in this section affects a student's ownership of their own original artwork.

You are responsible for providing accurate contact information when booking or completing studio forms.
16. No Guarantee of Results
Artistic development and painting outcomes vary substantially among students.
Old Masters Fine Art provides instruction, materials, guidance, and studio facilities but does not guarantee that a particular painting will be completed within a specified number of sessions or that participation will produce any particular artistic, educational, professional, or other result.
17. Applicable Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive or limit any consumer right, remedy, warranty, or protection that cannot lawfully be waived or limited under applicable law.
18. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, any legal proceeding arising from these Terms or services provided by Old Masters Fine Art shall be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction serving Tarrant County, Texas.
19. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law or severed as appropriate, and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
20. Changes to These Terms
Old Masters Fine Art may update these Terms periodically.
The effective date shown at the top of this page identifies the current version.
Changes will apply prospectively and will not retroactively alter material terms applicable to sessions or packages already purchased except where required or permitted by applicable law.
